I joined the Durham Schutzhund Club in 2008 with my Doberman Dylan (King Diablo's Royal Dylan). I was previously involved in CKC conformation, obedience and tracking with my great danes. I have been involved with many associations and clubs for many years including behavioral counseling and dog trainer instructing people in obedience.
My involvement as a breeder is working towards my titles. I have years of experience in the reproductive phase at the veterinary clinic where I work out of. I have had dogs all my life, trained and bred.
I had watched a Schutzhund trial years ago and was quite impressed with the sport. At the time I did not have a breed to compete with and now I finally found my boy to compete with. I am looking forward to upcoming trials and would like to start trialing in 2010.
