The Durham Schutzhund
Club, at our club grounds in Orono, Ontario will be
hosting the 2010 Ontario Regional Championships.
This important event is a qualifier for competitors
and dogs hoping to compete for positions on Team
Canada at the 2010 World Championships in Spain.
The working dog trial taking place May 28-30th will
showcase the skill and precision of the top dogs in
Ontario and beyond. The Breed Show and Breed Survey
taking place June 5 & 6 will judge and compare
each dog for both structure and temperament as
described in the internationally accepted WUSV
breed standard. These dogs are judged on physical
confirmation and movement in the show ring and are
given a rating based on how well they conform to
the standard.
As a registered not-for-profit organization,
sponsors play a very important role in our event.
Sponsorship through monetary and/or trophy
donations, booth rentals, product donations and
advertising assist us in ensuring a first class
competition and allow us to set the stage for a
high quality event. Donators will receive
recognition in our catalogue, and booth space is
available.
